Design the review itself

A review step needs more design than an approve button. I would first name the decision the reviewer is responsible for and the evidence they need. The person should know whether they are checking accuracy, exercising judgment, or authorizing an external action.

I also want a useful way to send work back. A correction should preserve the reviewer’s explanation and give the workflow a clear next step. When review is vague, it can become a ritual. When the decision is concrete, it becomes a meaningful part of how the system earns trust.
